This is a heavy, stoneware, shallow dish-form, designed to hang as a wall plaque.

It's decor features a stylized sunfish rendered in caramel and seaweed, against a ground of rich cobalt , the whole in a cracquelled glass glaze of great depth.

Hrdejoyice is a town in the Southwest Czech Republic, near the Austrian border.
