Shallow, ring-footed, stoneware bowl, the interior carved with a flight of six birds, and covered in a thin sky blue over sung, allowing the sung glaze to show through, highlighting the carving.

Background: Originally trained as a sculptor, Khyn worked for Royal Copenhagen from 1903-1923, and again from 1935 until his death in 1969.
