Well turned brass candle shaft. Screwed, via hand-cut threads, into a sand-cast and polished, four-footed brass base.

This is one of three similar sticks we are selling.

Note: This is not my area of knowledge. The information was provided by a friend -- a collector of Judaica, with a concentration on candlesticks (more than 300 pairs in his collection).

(These candlesticks were an important family possession, often serving as an all-purpose tool; in this case, likely as a hammer. They continued to serve, one generation to the next.
