Side view View of underside - ground & polished pontil.		Cased Crackle Bowl 9-5/8" d x 2-5/8" high Large, low bowl, cased and crackled. White glass has been cased in clear and then in what appears to have been a thin frit of purple and cobalt. When submersed in water the latter layer fractured randomly, creating an unusual crackle effect. It was then case again in clear. The effect similar to Durand's Moorish or Egyptian Crackle. Unmarked, but likely Czech. Detail showing the depth of the clear casing between the white ground and the purple/cobalt crackle. Mint. $ 145. G-168-S
