Strong form in a large-handled jug with lipped spout and mouth, its collared neck embossed with a ring of the proud, strutting roosters so identified with the French countryside.
Covered with a flowing, dark gray-green semi-matte over a warm, country wheat.

Wonderful example from the cradle of Art Deco design.

Background: Denbac is a conjoined contraction for Denert et Balichon, the two patrons. The firm operated in Vierzon, France bridging the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras.
