 Royal Haeger Compote
3-3/8" high x 7-3/4" diameter

Eight-sided, footed compote, covered in Haeger's "Blue Crackle" glaze - a hi-glaze of cobalt to lighter turquoise tones, with hues of green, and areas of wonderful golden volcanic glaze.

See detail photos below.

"Blue Crackle", also known to collectors as "Etruscan," was made to imitate the patina of ancient Etruscan pottery unearthed in Italy. It was created by master ceramist Helmut Bruchmann, ceramic engineer at Haeger from 1953 to 1967.
