1-7/8" high x 8-3/16" diameter

Low, round bowl decorated in a bold geometric pattern of rust-brown, blue, gray-green and black, reminiscent of a backgammon board. The underside is decorated in rings of rust-red, blue, black and white. All-over hi-glaze.

Founded as a stove maker in 1839, around 1900, Kahler Keramicks began producing "...heavily patterned ceramics for which the factory became know." moving "easily among the many decorative trends of the twentieth century."
