Published in an edition of 200 by the Woodcut Society.

BACKGROUND: Havens was a member of the Prairie Print Makers, the Kansas based group founded in 1920 by Birger Sandzen . In addition to Havens and Sandzen, among its active members were many of the other foremost printmakers of mid-century America, including John Taylor Arms, Gustave Baumann, Peter Hurd, Clare Leighton, Maynard Dixon and John Steuart Curry.

 

in a non-archival mat which has left typical discoloring around the edge of the mat cutout. Brown paper tape top and bottom of sheet. Otherwise in Excellent Condition.
