Appealing gouache illustration of schoolboy fishing of the end of a dock. His wide-eyed expression peculiarly apprehensive -- perhaps in fear that the poor worm is downing.

Illustration bordered in black, red and gold, the whole laid down on sheet of chipboard.

Very light foxing (as seen at left), and small abrasion at signature (see bottom 'tail' of the "y" above). Otherwise in very good condition.

Nice addition to a collection of illustrations. Perfect for child's room.
