Mt. Washington 'Wanabe'

Well made, heat-reactive pitcher with applied wrap-around handle.

Ground pontil with appropriate wear to base. Acid stamped Mt. Washington Trade Mark -- see two views below.

Purchased years ago from 'a little old lady' dealer with a nice glass collection.

In those days I had no idea that unscrupulous folks actually faked signatures. (The other pieces I bought were genuine and have long since been sold; this one has been on my 'humility shelf'.)

Ah, the price of knowledge...

Nonetheless, a nice peice of glass. (And, priced for it's intrinsic design value, not its 'wanabe' origin.)
