Two-handled vase in classic fin de siecle Pallme-König technique.

Deep purple-magenta, slightly translucent, iridescent body with randomly applied vertical and horizontal trailing in an iridescent white-to-silver.

Ruffled mouth with two ruffles elongated, pulled, bent backward and affixed to the body, forming two self-handles.

Pontil ground and polished.

Wonderful and distinctive form, masterfully realized. Circa 1900.
