Background: Gerd Bogelund joined Royal Copenhagen while still attending the Craftsman School, and remained until 1942. She joined Saxbo in 1943, for two years, working closely with Natalie Krebs. She rejoined Royal Copenhagen in 1946. She worked most often in stoneware, though occasionally in porcelain as in this example.
