WMF Vase

3-7/16"" high x 2-7/8" diameter

Elegantly formed, small baluster vase, covered in a grayish high glaze with touches of sang de boeuf and forest green, the whole lightly and attractively crazed.

WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) ceramic production began in 1935 and extended to 1949. It appears to have been overshadowed by metal and glass production. Examples are seldom found today.
